Next to Mongiove there is Tindari where you can visit the statue of the Black Madonna or also the antik greek theathre or the beautiful beach of Marinello. Mongiove is famous for the cliffs which are known as beautiful. There are some cliffs that you can reach only with a boat. They are fantastic The festival of the holy in mongiove is the first Sunday of August.

How to arrive
By Train: You should leave the train at the station from Patti or S. Piero Patti (there are some local trains which stop at the station from Mongiove)
With car: You should leave the Highway A20 at the station of Patti ( Mongiove is 1km from Patti away)
With airplane: The airports are at Palermo and Catania

Tindari: at about 10 minutes by car, one found Tindari, an old town of
origins Graeco-Romans, it conserves some archaeologicall testimnyes that back to 3 century B.C. We mention the greeck theatre and the great new sanctuary, that stands to 200 metres on the sea, it's dedicated to the "Black Madonna" of Tindary
Taormina: Going along the highway A18, from Messina, one arrives to Taormina in about an half hour. This is a touristic place between the most famous places of the world. From here is possible reach the top of the Etna.
Etna: It is an active Vulcan the distance is about 104km.
Eolian Islands: You can reach the wonderful islands from the harbour in Patti with an Aliscafo.
Cefalù: It is also famous for the wonderful cathedral it is 110 km distanted
